Profile
I am a registered criminologist, researcher, and academic with expertise in Victimology, Criminal Justice Reform, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and evidence-based research. My research interests focus on victim-centred approaches to justice, access to justice, protection and support of vulnerable populations, criminal justice policy and reform, and prevention and response to GBV and sexual offences. I have strong experience in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research, including research design, data analysis, academic writing, and translating research findings into practical policy and programme recommendations. My work is driven by a commitment to strengthening justice systems, advancing human rights, and promoting evidence-informed responses to crime and victimisation.

Teaching (Learning Environment)
Experienced criminology and criminal justice educator with a strong focus on student-centred and inclusive learning. I employ interactive lectures, case studies, practical exercises, group discussions, problem-based learning, and technology-supported teaching to enhance student engagement and critical thinking. My teaching integrates real-world criminal justice cases, research evidence, and practical applications to strengthen students’ analytical and professional skills. Teaching effectiveness is demonstrated through student engagement, participation, assessment performance, feedback, and continuous improvement of teaching approaches.

- Through Insight Edge Research Consultancy, I provide research services including research design, proposal development, data collection, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, academic research support, and preparation of policy- and practice-oriented research outputs.
