On 16th of August 2023, The School of Technology in conjunction with the Safaricom Engineering Community – Big Data & Machine Learning Chapter hosted a workshop at KCA University that was entitled “Build by Safaricom”.
The workshop marked the beginning of a free one-month Accelerate by Safaricom hands-on technical immersion on Big Data, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics at KCA University. The training aims to make KCA University a Center of Excellence in Big Data and Machine Learning and create a talent pipeline from the university. Students will be provided will provide students with a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts who will prepare them to meet the demands of the industry.
