Profile

Dr. Edwin Omol is an experienced academic and Information systems’ professional with over a decade of expertise in teaching, research, and technology management. As a Facilitator in the Department of Networks and Applied Computing (NAC) at KCA University, Dr. Omol is passionate about empowering students through innovative teaching methods, mentorship, and research that bridges theory and practice. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems (awaiting graduation) from KCA University, alongside an MSc in Information Systems, and a BSc & Diploma in Information Technology. In addition, Dr. Omol is a certified Google Data Analyst, IBM Data Scientist, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), showcasing his commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements.

A consummate researcher, Dr. Omol has been recognized for his contributions to Information Systems, including acknowledgment at KCA University’s 17th Graduation Ceremony by the Research Division with a certificate as a staff with the most innovative idea (DMAM tool: https://matricuda.com/dmam/index) and for his numerous publications in 2024 and he continues to serve as a reviewer for a number of international academic journals. Dr. Omol is driven by a desire to enhance academic processes, foster innovation, and help students and colleagues achieve their full potential.
