Profile

Dr. Lucy Waruguru is a Senior Lecturer at the College of Technology at KCA University.

She conducted her doctoral research at the Chair of GIScience, Heidelberg University, Germany, as a Deutscher Academischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) scholar. Her research activity involved the analysis of Geographic Information to understand and predict risk patterns.

Her Master’s study was in Computer-based Information Systems at the University of Sunderland, UK, under the Commonwealth scholarship fund. The research project was based on the usability context, and how to apply this to improve the human-computer Interface for medical prescription systems.
