Justus Mutia has over 20 years of experience in teaching and administration at the tertiary level. In 2001, he was instrumental in the establishment of KCA’s first academic teaching unit that rolled out Diploma and later Bachelor of Science in Information Technology programmes under JKUAT. In 2007, he became KCA University’s first University Registrar and was a key member of the transition committee that spearheaded KCA’s transition into a University. He served as a pioneer director of the Enrollment Management and Student Affairs department for ten years, overseeing the growth of student numbers from 4,500 to 21,000. He remained an active faculty member throughout this period, rejoining the School of Technology in January 2022. He is now serving as a full-time lecturer and the school’s examinations coordinator.
