The department offers both traditional and contemporary courses that are relevant to the current needs of the society. We emphasize Problem solving in all courses to enhance creative and critical approaches to everyday life situations. Our programs also encompass communication, entrepreneurial and life skills, which are requisite for the job market and livelihoods in general.
Dr. Rachel N. Kibuku is the current chair of the Department and also a Lecturer at the School of Technology at KCA University.
